I'm a portrait/lifestyle photographer in Indianapolis, IN. I also shoot some weddings, but my dream job would be in fashion/editorial photography.
The work you see posted here reflects my desire to capture each subject's "best side". I also love doing fun things in post-processing to amplify my images, creating stylized, colorful, high-contrast b&w or otherwise altered photographs.
I do enjoy the photo journalistic aspects of wedding photography as well as the posed stuff, but overall, I prefer to shoot where I have control over the entire scene - lights, make-up, clothing, location, etc. And when I can't completely control what I'm shooting I utilize post-processing to bring the image to completion the way I envision it.
