I take photographs, but I'm not a photographer - sadly. I am what I call a snapshotter with a photographers gear. Occasionally I do get a decent shot though that could actually look quite artistic to some :) But in the end this is a documentary of things I see and the way I see them, primarily for myself and people I know.

Most of my pictures are licensed under a Creative Commons license, however not all are. Mainly ones where a single person is the main focus of the photo, the image will not be licensed under a CC license unless I have their permission to do so. I don't apply this as strictly to groupshots. I do apply it strictly to photographs of son.

If you want to use any of my CC licensed images for any purpose: feel free, of course. But do stick to the rules: Attribution ((C) Ian A Holton) and a link to this page is mandatory and I would appreciate a comment or message about the usage.
