"At first ,I just caught a glimpse of Po-Pad's work. After that,a lot of time spent in silent concentration. My heart fell to vague depths between those images. There are such spaces that I can't think but feel.I threw off my mind to experience the uncertainty of air from his photos,so I felt the extensiveness of their being with my emotion.
Another element of Po-Pad's works which still impresses me is the awesome range of every condensed moment. He took them without artificial setting,as though he set the caged model free. The artistic aura which Po-Pad appeared is the refinement of a soul through time.
No one would miss or fail to see.Such beauty existis here to all who would stop and feel.Do you see it?Like the fluid time is frozen, and waiting to be born......"4th April, 2007

"Po-pad produces very interesting traditional photos, the majority of them being lith. Lith can be used in two different ways; upgrading a bad negative or enhancing an already interesting image. Po-pad prefers the latter, obviously.
His compositions are excellent; mostly centred around an intriguing model. The background always has its own atmosphere, and adds to the emotion the model expresses."2nd April, 2007

"Wistfully perusing flickr's pages one hazy afternoon not so long ago, something very special caught my eye; a quietly alluring portrait of a disarmingly beautiful woman, set against the backdrop of a Parisien train station. Simply entitled 'Metro', it had a wonder about it I couldn't quite place, but it left me with the distinct feeling that I'd stumbled upon something rather special. Thankfully, I was right.
Po-pad's photos are sublime examples of a genuine master at work. Delicately crafted pieces of art in it's truest sense, they each carry a timeless beauty rarely seen in photography these days.
A true master and a true inspiration."1st April, 2007

"One of the best phptographers I've seen on Flickr. I've seen a lot of photographed faces, but few with power, emotion and technique...not all at the same time. Po-pad handles cameras, contrast, light and darkroom -as all photos are scans from prints- like a master. Also, Love that girl who appears in almost all his pictures...he manages to capture her deep emotions, besides her great beauty."

"Po-Pad's eyes see beautiful things.
I would say he's extremely lucky man - with such a beautiful girlfriend for a model - but as you know - models alone don't make pictures! It's the photographer and his eye, and skill. Wonderful tonalities, moods, and stories.
Inspiring."16th March, 2007

sexualityinart.wordpress.com says:
"Po-Pad's work is beautiful out of any specific time reference. If you told me these photos were from 100 years ago or from 100 years in the future, their beauty would be consistently strong. I do not know what country the photos are taken in. I don't know the environments' dominant religions, languages, ethnicities, or locations. And none of those considerations matter, because the artfulness in the photos is universal.
I see gifted people and I encourage them. That is what I can do. It is not much, but it is a good thing for me (and hopefully others) to do.
Every artist should be so fortunate to have a muse and a model as compelling as Po-Pad's. I think he senses a responsibility that he has not just a creative impulse, but also a duty to show the beauty in her that he sees, and that she is willing to reveal to him, to the rest of us mere mortals.
To understand the beauty of Po-Pad's imagery, here is an exercise to try. Look at all the photos with his compelling model in them. Now, imagine she is not in the picture. Yes, surely the picture is diminished by her absence. But also, see how the compositions, balances, and darknesses work in the photos, even when you imagine her gone. Yes, she is the reason to take the photos, but environmentally, the photos can stand on their own.
Po-Pad's images remind us that the visual arts cannot be conveyed in thumbnails. Compare the visual enjoyment of "Wonderland" from thumbnail to (800 x 545). Then, imagine its potential in larger ratios.
Po-Pad's work reminds us that environments matter. Look at the interior decor of the inner rooms where he photographs. It appears clear that he (and she) have created interior spaces that will add character to life's intimate pauses. Then, I imagine him walking around those spaces, looking through his viewfinder, and finding the POVs that will create the best backgrounds for his muse.
Po-Pad's work is about using perspective to make uncommon spaces intimate. Whether it's children playing, a marketplace, a public courtyard, or a comfortable room. There is a feeling that a shield resides just outside of the borders of his photos, protecting what he cares about within.
Intimacy. Po-Pads works can help someone understand the concepts and reasons to pursue intimacies.
I cannot create his wonderful worlds. I cannot frame worlds so artfully. But I can give attention and warranted praise to his works."6th March, 2007

David Rossi says:
"Po-pad's images are absolutely wonderful. I have personally never seen such beautiful pictures anywhere. What I appreciate the most isn't only the fact that lith printing requires extra care and patience, but also po-pad's point of view, his personal search for beauty. His photographs have many things to say. Try to spend a little more time to look at them. I'm telling you, it's totally worth it.
It's an experience."13th February, 2007

"Ce que j'aime dans les photos de Po-Pad, c'est que toutes concourent à créer un univers autour du personnage aimé, c"est un univers dense qui évoque plus qu'il ne montre et son sujet nous guide, il offre sa beauté à la beauté du monde."
