The Plymouth District Library is located in Plymouth, Michigan, a community situated 30 minutes west of downtown Detroit and 25 minutes east of Ann Arbor. Our library serves the city of Plymouth (population 9,022) as well as Plymouth Township (population 27,798). In addition to the International Ice Spectacular held during January, our town hosts Art in the Park , the Fall Festival, and The Musical Celebration each year.

We are just completing a renovation of our Library to include an entire level for Youth Services and a new Teen Zone area on our main level. The Library offers something for everyone - from Baby Play sessions and Storytimes for our youngest patrons to Needlework and Garden Groups, Low Vision Support Group and Reading Discussion Groups for adults. Teens engage in video gaming contests as well as Books & Bagels discussions. New additons to our collections include Playaway audio books and downloadable videos.
