www.plurio.net - The cultural Portal of the Greater Region

What is the Plurio.net Project?

The idea is simple: offering a cross-border database, which collects and disseminates cultural information of the Greater Region. Every cultural operator can register and publish its information. More than 800 members are already online!



What is the added value?

With a single entry on Plurio.net, a cultural operator reaches multiple websites, databases – and audiences! More than 150.000 people are currently informed monthly about your activities via the plurio.net network – and the number is still increasing!

Plurio.net publishes the information not only on the cultural portal of the Greater Region, but also disseminates the information via multiple channels using interfaces, RSS feeds and webservices. The network supplies regional and cross border cultural portals, as well as websites of the touristic sector, cooperates with municipalities and cross border agglomerations and is a base for printed cultural agendas.

Being partner and operator of plurio.net, the public cultural administrations of the Greater Region are watching over the terms of use, which exclude, for example, the commercial use of the data. Plurio.net is a public service of the project partners and free of charge.


What are the goals of the plurio.net cooperation?

We aim to facilitate the access to cultural information about the Greater Region. Our long term objective is to develop further services for the portal, to develop new audiences and to deepen the territorial cooperation in the Greater Region. We try to cooperate directly with the cross-border cultural networks and to enhance the visibility of their activities as well as we aim to offer help for the use of the Internet in cultural sector.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund in the framework of the programme Interreg IVA Grande Région.
