I got a Flickr account original just to post pics to illustrate my blog. That's still mostly what it's used for.

My photography has never been anything more than grabbing my camera for days out or holidays and aiming to get the best holiday snaps I can. Nothing arty, nothing talented, just a bit of careful framing with some half decent equipment.

But in 2008 I started to get more interested in photography. As my interest grew so has my SLR system and I even switched to shooting RAW. More recently I organised some "photo walks" near to where I live with two professionals (one landscape, one wildlife) and it now appears to have a stable group of regulars attending.

With the help of the pros and the mastery of Lightroom hopefully I may yet make a half decent photographer.
