I'm a journalist and I've been working in the newspaper business for many years. Nowadays I work as project manager and business developer for a newspaper and publishing group.

I've never been a press photographer wannabe but I love taking photos as a hobby. I am not trying to make art. I use my camera as my diary to remember what I did, what I saw and to share memories with my family and friends.

I always carry my Canon Ixus in my pocket or my bag, and I love to play around with my DSLR, Canon EOS 40D. Digital photography is the best thing has happened to photography in the last 100 years.

Over the years I have been travelling all over the globe. "To travel is to live" as Hans Christian Andersen said. I take a lot of photos when I travel. Most of the photos I have on film, but since 2002 I have only used digital cameras.

I live in the part of Copenhagen, Denmark, called Frederiksberg. My neighbourhood is close to the Copenhagen lakes and only 10 minutes walk from the City Hall and city centre. I love living in a green neighbourhood in a city house with a garden and being in the city centre at the same time. I live together with my partner, Søren.
