My name is Francesca. I'm the mother of two boys and a girl: Arturo (8 years old), Giuliano (6 years old) and Anita (two and a half years old). I'm a theatre scholar. I've worked in University of Bologna since 1999, with a specialization in dramaturgy. I usually run theatre-workshops focusing particularly on the relation between body and poetry.

Since more than eight years I have been into natural child-hood care (I manage an on-line site on these themes: www.ilveromomon.too.it) and since my first child had begun to attend to Waldorf infant-school I've got very keen on Waldorf pedagogy, focusing particularly on all what concerns artistic and manual activities.

Some years ago I have begun to sew Waldorf dolls for my children and I have found that creating them was a very deep spiritual experience. For this reason I have kept to sew them for relatives’ and friends’ children that wished to have beside them these sweet fellows.

I feel the necessity to share with others the thin and long-lasting pleasure that I receive working with hands: there is art and life (and soul) in the work of our manuality!

Mi chiamo Francesca. Sono mamma di tre bimbi bellissimi ("ogni scarrafone..."): Arturo (quasi otto anni), Giuliano (quasi sei anni), Anita (due anni e mezzo). Sono studiosa di teatro e tengo laboratori teatrali lavorando soprattutto sul rapporto tra corpo e poesia. Da più di otto anni mi occupo di accudimento naturale del bambino piccolo (gestisco un sito molto visitato su questi temi: www.ilveromomon.too.it) e da quando il mio primo bimbo ha cominciato a frequentare il giardino d'infanzia Waldorf mi sono appassionata alla pedagogia steineriana, approfondendo in particolare tutto quanto riguarda le attività manuali e artistiche.

Ho cominciato alcuni anni fa a cucire delle bambole imbottite per i miei bimbi con la tecnica Waldorf e ho trovato che creare queste bambole sia un'esperienza spirituale profondissima. Per tale motivo ho continuato a cucirle per i bimbi degli amici e anche per tutti i bimbi che desiderano avere accanto uno di questi dolcissimi compagni.

Sento la necessità di condividere con gli altri il piacere sottile e duraturo che ricevo lavorando con le mani: c'è vita e arte nelle opere della nostra manualità (e interiorità)!
