Like, Dude! I am so RETIRED.
Security Consultant, Retired
Private Investigator, Retired
USAF, Retired
Father, Retired (Just Kidding)
It's me, PixrNuggets!

Photography is what I do for a living
these days, but I love it too much to
actually say that I work at it.
Keeping my studio tidy and the books
in order are the hardest parts of what I do.

I'm very much into photoshop, would be
lost without it. Here's a sample:

In the above image I used three models and by the magic of Photoshop I made it look like twelve.
Using a Wacom tablet I paint in Photoshop, sometimes painting images completely with a digital brush. Other times I will draw my outlines on paper, scan it into the computer and complete it with Photoshop.
There are those who think that painting this way isn't real, or that it's cheating... but the image is the image. It may only exist in the ether, and may be deemed to be "unreal," but when you look at it you are making it just as real as a painting can be.
The image is there for you, to muse over, to relish, or to dislike as you see fit. If you want to say that it is not real please feel free, because that, too, is up to you.
Most people have never seen the actual Mona Lisa, just renderings of it, and today, most of those renderings are transmitted and displayed digitally. There is only one Mona Lisa but very few can say they have seen the original
Do centuries old paintings only become real when you have seen the original work? Today more great works are seen by more people than ever before, but not in their original context.
When the artist lays down the brush, or perhaps, when the painting is removed from the studio, the original context is lost. When you see it, ponder it, enjoy it, you are providing a new context that is just as meaningful as the day it was created.

Rob Sokolowski says:
"Knowing Bill over the years leaves me with only one thing to say. He is truley a renisance type of person. Showing art from painting, writing and many other venues. Never ceasing to surprise and create a sense of awe. His delight comes through the subject in which he uses, yet captures."
