Grew up on South Whidbey. Managed to knock out about half my AA during high school at Red Apple U, aka Ken's Korner Kampus SVC. Stupidly joined the Army in late 2003 and by Feb '04, I was sweating to foam-mouthed Drill Sergeants in Fort Benning. Uncle Sam sent me to Italy and Afghanistan, in that order. So here I am, in the middle of a mountain/desert region devoid of everything. Waiting for my ETS like a kid for Christmas.
