"it has become completely obvious that the work found here is a total yes, with a whole bunch of more please. he is alive and so much more than well. i absolutely love the photographs, and the meaning, i find for myself, behind them. absolutely. completely."

"Pittsinger. The brilliant photographer that makes you feel. The titleist. The individual that has me totally attracted to his photostream. Never boring. I never tire of this marvel. It's his mind. He does not intentionally draw you in but he does. Visit him. You'll see what I mean. It is really hard to explain."

"I don't know what it is but there is something that attracts me to keep on visiting Pittsinger's photostream and there is this strange feeling that I feel within me every time I see his composition and read how he titles it."

    "ok, so here's the thing.

every time i stop by pittsinger's stream -- and i mean every goddam time -- i am blown away. and i don't mean by the images. well, yeah, by the images. but it's so much MORE than that, see. it's the tenderness behind the images, the starkness that is like a window to something i can't quite see. and his titles. his titles! his titles are fucking brilliant, stream of consciousness and yet so very pointed. and the magnificent confluence of word and image creates a stream of art that is so much more than anything a body could ever expect in this murky, muddy world.

he's an artist. in the true sense of that word.

and it's why i come back."

    Hing Ang Photography says:

"PIttsingers world is bleak and beautiful. Carefully composing and capturing the texture of urban deterioration, his photos scream "This is how it is!". His use of lines and verticals is frustrating yet compelling (one way of saying he is not afraid to push boundaries to see something new). Urbanscapes with a real sense of place and sublime emotive value are rare and I'm glad to have joined his journey. Take me somewhere significant dude!"
