I am the daughter of a professional photographer, the mother of a professional photographer, and a former model in my own right. I hung out on campus with my mother's friends while she studied at photo school, carried her camera bags into tall grass and long fields--one of them had a deer carcass rotting in the sun--and it never occurred to me to give my hand at it beyond the occasional snapshot from my Pentax.

Until I bought a decent Canon Powershot, I didn't have any idea that my pictures could be good. Now I'm learning how to fully utilize my Nikon SLR, and hope to be able to show more on screen of what I see in the world (thus far nothing has really captured it well). While photography has never been my chosen career path I do enjoy the art, and I do consider the images I take as my own possession. Please do not steal the pretties.

I will be adding my favorite photos to my deviantart account (PinstripedFanny) shortly for purchase as cards, prints, and posters. Let me know if something catches your eye and I'll be happy to add it there.

Also, if at my event photos you see yourself or a friend in an image, let me know! People who can prove their identity and are in one of my shots are welcome to a free full-sized original of the image if it is so desired.

By the way, to the people who favorite or comment on pictures of my daughter with inappropriate attentions, I should warn you that she is well-cared for and her parents, godparents, aunties and uncles are all trained in various forms of martial arts and weaponry. Just don't go there.
