First of all, hello to all of my new contacts, especially those who have reciprocated :~) You are all so inspiring!!!

I've always loved taking pictures. I think I still have all my old cameras~~a Brownie Starflash, a Kodak Instamatic and a Nikon One Touch. I point and shoot and hope for the best :~)

My first digital was a Canon A460 and I purchased a G11 last year. I never wanted an SLR film camera, because I was intimidated by terms such as aperture, f-stop, shutter speed and ISO. The irony is that I have to learn about them anyway, now that I have a G11:~)

But I'm learning little by little. I'm also learning more about Photoshop thanks to all the information available online. Just like "pointing and shooting", about all I've known how to do in PS is crop :~)

I've become obsessed with actions and textures and have downloaded many of the free ones that so many kind souls offer. This has led me into wanting to learn more about Digital Art/Collage and I have found so many fantastic artists on Flickr! It's all amazing!!!

Now I have to drag myself away from playing with Photoshop to eat and sleep :~)
