Pinewood has a dual gauge (5" & 7 1/4") ground level track running for almost 1/2 mile through woodland behind the Pinewood Leisure Centre. The club has been operating since 1984 and the track is still evolving, with additional raised steaming bays added this year. The club has a thriving junior section with members taking part in the 7 1/4" Society Proficiency Scheme. Members days are usually well attended with a varied selection of engines being in operation, and public running days are generally very busy. New members, with or without engines, are always welcome.
