From the 17th of may 2009, Trooster' Safe Foundation started P.ART of your life, a new artspace in Zwolle.
2007 - 51 colourboxproject
51 (2006) are four series of 51 colourboxes (oil pastels in the original boxes) that he melts in an oven. First he makes a composition then he lets the oven finish the work. Sometimes the result is an improvement and sometimes it is a destruction of the composition. Always it is a matter of letting loose and of accepting the gifts of the heat of the oven. The results he is going to show in series hanging from the wall. He invites all kinds of people to make a composition in one of the boxes. In this way all kinds of people can participate in his project.

During the period between 1982 and 1995 he had quite a lot of galleryshows and some museumpresentations in Holland (in: Amsterdam, Utrecht, Soest, Baarn, Rotterdam, Maastricht, Zwolle, Gramsbergen, Soest, Den Bosch, Franeker en Apeldoorn).
Abroad he had galleryshows and he participated in some artfairs in Germany(Nordhorn), France (Parijs en Quimper), Spain (Barcelona) and Engeland (Londen), USA (Los Angeles, www.raidprojects.com/boxes.html and New York).
From 1995 till 2009 he had, in Dalfsen Holland, his own gallery/art space called safe.

safe was housed in the, (during the Cold War), last build nucleare bunker in the Netherlands, under the townhall of a small village, called Dalfsen. Beside the work in his own studio, he organizes site-specific installative projects, in the art-space of safe: www.safe-art.nl

From 2002 till 2006: Curator for visual artprojects for "De Stad Als Theater", a yearly organized theater/music and visual arts-festival in the month of june in Zwolle
Since 2006 he curates also for VIVAFESTIVAL; an international videofestival with screenings all over the world: www.vivafestival.com

recent projects
In the last 3 years his studiowork has devellopped in a more methodic approach of painting
not razorblades
In 2004 he made several artworks inspired by a 'ready made' in the form of a peace of rust (that he found along the highway), that immediately made him think of a razorblade
drippings
In 2005/2006 he painted about 20 drippings inspired by the emotional state of mind that did overwelm him after his father died.
