  "Philippe, what has yet to be said of this great artist? Many speak of his artistic ability and engaging captures. There is much to be said of his composition and manipulation of the camera. In all, his technique and gifted eye have brought joys to each of us as we view his works eagerly, on a daily basis.
  
  The details are what draw my eye to Philippe’s works, though. The gentle caress of light as it meanders through a grass laden field… the cast of a shadow giving depth and warmth to an evening’s glow. I notice the trickling changes in the tones of a shade as they emerge from a flushed hue to a crimson flame of light, and I watch in wonder as an intriguing image emanates forth from a simple composition into a rhapsody of life.
  
  In Philippe’s works I can hear the echoes of ages past and stories being told. A timeworn gate wags on about those who have entered and left again, its old and rusty hinges gazing upon the fresh and new blossoms pendulant above it. A giant’s foot sits still and quiet, frozen in time by a mossy carpet – poised as if ready to set out on an adventure at any given moment.   The colors Philippe finds and masters in his pictures are truly mesmerizing and inspirational. He obviously looks at the world in a unique way and I find myself staring deeply into his photos for extended periods of time. There is so much clutter on Flickr that it is nice to take time, sit back, and enjoy some of his work.
  
  I highly recommend you take time to go through his Top 20. The blues in them will stop a clock. Philippe is one of the true pioneers of HDR photography and I doubt his work will ever cease to amaze me."
