I think I have been waiting all my life for them to invent digital photography!
Taking pictures has opened my eyes and made me see so many things I have never ever noticed before. Most of all it has made me really appreciate light, and understand how it totally transforms our view!
As a retirement present from work my collegues bought me an Olympus u-1060, which fulfils all my requirements. It is slim, lightweight, quick and simple to use and fits in my handbag, so I always have it with me.
When I am not taking photos I am probably singing, gardening, birdwatching, bellringing, editing the local Parish magazine, researching my family history, making jam, knitting, visiting somewhere interesting or just reading a good book!
