I remember growing up w/ really artistic brothers and sisters. I was always so jelous because i couldn't draw, i couldn't sculpt, i couldn't paint, i couldn't sew. I just figured the "artistic" gene skipped me.

Then in high school I took photography class so i could goof off w/ my friends. But there was something about photography and seeing the world from a different view that I really enjoyed. I guess for myself, taking a photograph is a chance to "stop and smell the flowers". With the hectic lives and world we live today, it is these little details in life which more often than not that really make life precious and joyful. Yet day in and day out we simply overlook these things.

Here I am now, still pretty new to the whole digital age in terms of photography. Please feel free to comment and any criticisms and comments are greatly appreciated.
