Hello, we are Pieter van Stein & Lilimar Hernández Rodríguez from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pieter (1969) is Dutch and his wife Lilimar (1977) is Venezuelan. We have two sons Sebastian Gael (2002) and Diego Nicolas (2004) that were born in Rotterdam and carry a Dutch passport, but that are, aside from their blond hair, very Latino, more specific Carioca.

Pieter is an economist by education with vast international experience in the world of maritime services with the company SMIT, since 2010 part of Boskalis, especially if it comes to start-ups of business and change management. Lilimar is a lovely mother and designs jewellery.

Because of Pieter's work since 1997 we lived in USA (Houston), Venezuela (Caracas & Puerto La Cruz), Mexico (Mexico City), Holland (Rotterdam), UAE (Dubai), and South Africa (Cape Town), and since late 2006 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In addition we spend most of our vacation in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela.

We especially opened this flickr account to share our photos with family and friends at long distance, but you are welcome to view them and comment as long as you do so respectfully.
