A freelance writer by profession, photography was a tool that enabled me to write evocative travel features. Camera in hand, I realized that I could take pictures not just for posterity but also as a way to look at this world.

Photography brings a unique perspective on people, places and objects, that only a camera lens can focus on. The ability to look closely or look away; the ability to picture this world.
