Since the late 60's I have been regularly traveling around the world by private car, bicycle, rented car or motorcycle and by local transport. In the meantime I have visited around 100 countries. Since 1983 I am a fulltime documentary-photographer and specialized in non-western societies.
Every year I do a lot of slideshows at private and public institutions. I have published 8 booklets with stories about my experience in Indonesia, Ethiopia, Saudi-Arabia and in other countries.

Although I spent already many thousands of dollars on charity -and paid the education of two Ethiopian young men in the nineties-, a couple of years ago I started my own foundation:
"S-3-O" (Stichting ter Ondersteuning van Onderwijsprojecten in Ontwikkelingslanden)
At the moment my foundation takes the responsibility for the costs of education of 22 young boys and girls at the orphanage "Little Flower Home" in Mamallapuram (south-east India)
