Pick A Piper are a collective featuring Brad Weber of Caribou, Angus Fraser of Tenth of May, Dan Roberts of Winter Equinox and Clint Scrivener. Members are from Waterloo, Hamilton & Toronto.

Layer after layer of unhinged tribal rhythms collide with catchy basslines, chugging guitar and many textural overlays. The rhythms reminisce of 70s Africa and Turkey, while the music mashes campfire sing-alongs, a slice-n-dice sensibility and an overall danceable feel that causes you to involuntarily bob your head.

Songs are written together and sometimes with friends. Large groups are assembled to sing the choir-like harmonies. The live show features both Weber and Fraser destroying the skins over the entire set. Roberts and Scrivener generally take over bass and guitar duties, but sometimes can't resist the urge to join in on the percussive fun. This causes the set to frequently climax into a huge drum spectacle until the members are too exhausted to continue.
