Phototantra is a brainchild of photographers Vinayak Das and Snigdha Sheel, a husband and wife team. We are perhaps the only husband wife photographer team in India. As a team we have been shooting for 3 years and it has been a fantastic journey so far. As people we both love animals, babies, good food, traveling, laughter, company of friends, sweet moments surrounding life and its celebrations and as photographers we capture exactly the same things that we love in life.

As candid wedding photographers, we at Phototantra have covered all wedding related ceremonies quite extensively. We have provided services to NRI weddings, Church weddings, Muslim weddings, Jain weddings, Bengali weddings, Tamil weddings, Coorgi weddings, Kannadiga weddings, Maharashtrain weddings and Arya Samaj weddings.

As a husband and wife team our work compliment each other. Vinayak’s forte is people and documentary. His photojournalistic style gets reflected in the candid moments and moment’s realistic documentation. Snigdha, on the other hand gets into the nitty gritty of details and being a woman her photos depict the emotions that one goes through in a wedding.
