After two years on flickr I think I'm due for an update.

Photography has always inspired me. It has numerous meanings to me. The eternal capture in time of the horrible, beautiful, funny, sad, amazing, mundane, heartwarming, etc. Taking a step back and seeing the world in a way I wouldn't normally. It gives me a sense of fullfilment to know that it may touch someone and leave an impression on them. I think that the memories associated with photos are what appeal to me the most however. I'm about as nostalgic a person you'll ever meet so I guess it kind of works out that way.

Flickr has been an amazing learning experience for me. There are some people on here that simply amaze me with their creativity, vision and sense of exploration. While I'm still improving, I think I've learned quite a bit since becoming part of the flickr community. It never ceases to amaze me how willing people are to help and give advice or just share their experiences with me. Thanks to each and every one of you who have taken the time to view my photostream or drop me a line to tell me what they think. To those of you who are visiting for the first time, I hope you'll continue to come back in the future.
