16 Things about me ;)

1. I bought my first camera in High School. It was a Bell and Howell 35mm with a 125mm telephoto lens. I used it to take pictures for the High School yearbook. I learned on the job. My favorite subjects to photograph were candids of people, and still are.

2. My first car was a 57 Studebaker Silver Hawk.

3. I married my High School sweetheart and we have been married for 36 years now. .

4. I started my working life as a logger in the Olympic Mountains of Washington State.

5. I did not do much with photography after high school, but I am getting back into it now. Digital cameras and computers really help to make it fun.

6. I have lived in 6 states and visited 8 countries.

7. There are a limited number of perfect heads in the world. The rest of them are covered with hair.

8. I love airplanes and flying, though I do not have a pilots license. My dream is to someday have an ultralight.

9. My favorite movie is "Dave", and not because of the name. ;)

10. My favorite music would be rock from the 60s, 70s, 80s and current country.

11. I served in the Army for seven years, three of those years in Germany..

12. Members of our family were born in 5 different states and 2 countries.

13. We once had an exchange student from France.

14. We have 6 children and 8 grandchildren.

15. I have seen Led Zeppelin in concert.

16. Now I prefer Shania Twain.
