My name is Phan Ly. I live in Tulsa, OK. I fell in love with photography since I got my
first camera 25 years ago.
Upon coming to the USA, as soon as I could, still struggling with adapting to the new life,
I enrolled in the photography program Tulsa Tech school and graduated with certificate in
Photography and Photoshop. I opened my studio and started my wedding photography business a few years afterward. In 2010 I entered my pictures in Tulsa Gardens' Photography Contest and am very happy to win the People Choice award and a Honorable Mention one.
I also won 1st, 2nd and third place awards in City of Tulsa Parks Photo Contest.
I completed the PSA Photo Analysis course and enjoyed it very much.
In my family of four persons, my husband and eldest son are not interested in photography,
only Jackie, my 10 year old child is. I am teaching him how to take good pictures. He recently won
1st and 2nd place in the City of Tulsa photo contest and that made me very proud of him.
I love the art of photography, especially taking pictures of buildings and urban landscape,
and I am looking for opportunities to enhance my photographer's skills and to meet people
who share my love of photography.
