Ever wonder about those people?

Photononymo.us is a project created to learn a little something about the individuals in Cincinnati - Create a spontaneous and creative conversation between you, me, and another person across town.

Throughout the city disposable cameras have been placed at random for you to stumble upon.

With these cameras, you are asked to “Tell me something about yourself”. The catch is that you do so anonymously.

So, if you’ve gotten here, whether from stumbling upon a camera, or by word of mouth, welcome to the project, the experience, the conversation.

Browse the cameras we’ve gotten back. Take photos. Make comments. Go on, explore and express yourself. But keep yourself anonymous. We want to see who you are beyond your personal identity and find a personality, character, aesthetic, and essence of what individuals in Cincinnati are about.
