hello! im new to this flickr thing (as of may 2008) so il just say a few things about me..

Im 28 and work as a graphic designer for a design consultancy called Smart Ideas on Gailey Island opposite the spread eagle pub in a converted old church!

My background is Typography/Visual Communication of which i gained my degree in 2001. Whilst design and typography are my main focuses, photography has always interested me, the relationship between image and type is a key aspect of my job.

I brought my first digital camera in 2001 and my first SLR in October 2006. Whilst iam very green and learning new things every day, photography shouldn't be just technical, its key to be creative and have that special eye, something i thrive on achieving day to day.
