I take a lot of photos of flowers and insects, but most of my favourite photos are of the mundane, everyday activities of life.

I don't travel very much so most of my pictures are taken in the area around Daventry, Northamptonshire, or in my garden. There is so much around waiting to be photographed that I don't feel the need to travel very far afield. Saying that, I recently (2011) took a trip to the South of France and think I may have to delete this statement before too long.

I mainly use a Canon 400D, my first SLR camera of any kind, as well as my Canon S90 (a replacement for my Ixus) which goes everywhere with me.
