My Father is an amazing photographer, as children we would all gather around the large screen in our basement and view his slideshows. This gave me early training to look for " extraordinary " in the ordinary. I value his teachings more than anything I could have learned in schools.

I don't posses the abilities to work the camera like he or my other sisters. I don't seem to be able to remember all those settings ~ ;-0 Yet, I still like to shoot and document things that catch my eye.

I have always liked to get my hands dirty ~ and now that I have grown up and have a profession that requires my hands very clean it is important to me to balance that with my inner child.
Mosaics have become my passion. I love to work with all the colors in the glass, they seem to soothe my soul. Yes, I love to grout !! All that squishy mud in my hands is a joy !!
So now I get to create the images that are in my head, I get to play with grout and practice my photography.. Life is good ~
