Well, in a nut shell....
until a few years ago, I was just 'interested' in photography,
Then I decided, after speaking to mrscarecrow (Dennis!),
to join Swansea Camera Club, and I'm so glad I did...
I really feel that my photography has improved 1,000%
by the interaction, comments & inspiration I get from seeing other photographer's work on a regular basis.

Not forgetting, the Brilliant photos on Flickr of course!

On a more personal note:
I have a long term illness,
a degenerative disease of my spine, and I have found that I can use my photography, as a way/means of dealing with the constant pain my condition generates!

So, I can genuinely & honestly say, that photography has transformed my life, and I seriously doubt if I'd still be here - if it wasn't for this amazing hobby of ours...

I now get withdrawal symptoms if I don't take at least 20 photos a week!

I've adopted a more positive attitude towards life & photography: "If at first, you don't succeed - shoot, shoot, and shoot again - NEVER STOP SHOOTING!"
