For more than 40 years, Phoenix House has been a beacon of hope, offering the most vulnerable men, women, and children excellent and effective care, rebuilding shattered lives, reuniting families, and creating stronger communities.

Today, we serve more than 7,000 individuals each day at 150 programs in New York, California, Texas, Florida, and in all of the New England states. With a comprehensive array of services from early intervention to long-term aftercare, Phoenix House innovations include the Phoenix Academies, residential high schools where teenagers make up education lost to substance abuse and get back on track socially, emotionally, and academically. We also provide a broad, flexible range of outpatient and residential services for adults, adolescents, the incarcerated, the mentally ill, and mothers with young children.

Our prevention and education programs reach into homes and schools, informing parents and counseling more than 30,000 youngsters each year—giving them the tools and confidence to make healthy, intelligent decisions about the way they live their lives.
