Self-styled sporting outfitters of intellectual distinction, Philosophy Football was inspired by the words of Albert Camus, Nobel prize winner for literature, existentialist and goalkeeper.
All that I know most surely about morality and obligations I owe to football.
We added Albert's name and squad number to the back of a shirt, slapped his testament to the beautiful game on the front, and the first Philosophy Football design was born in November '94.
Our T-shirted squad now includes on the philosophers side Leon Trotsky, Monty Python, Arthur Conan Doyle and Jean-Paul Sartre.
While on the playing side with their words of wisdom on life beyond the touchline we have George Best, Jimmy Greaves, Pele and in the manager's seat Bill Shankly, amongst others.
Completing our sartorial line-up the dissenters' range features Hope not Hate, Spanish Civil War, Cuba Revolution and many more too.
