Fascinated by the amazing hidden beauties of Melbourne, Ronny scouts out the unusual and often unknown parts of Melbourne. Ronny demonstrates that even a long time denizen of Melbourne can feel like a tourist as they encounter true icons of this city they may have never encountered before. Despite their neglected nature they are unmistakably and readily identifiable as possessing the real essence of Melbourne. Ronny impels the viewer to look at things from a new angle, forcing them to rotate their heads and reconsider the world around them. He invites the viewer into a magical world inhabited by abandoned industrial sites and lonely alleyways. It is only during the wee hours of the night, when humans like to sleep, that these neglected and often shunned parts of our city feel uninhibited enough to showcase their unique personality. The synergistic interplay between moonlight and artificial light sources of the night allow for their true colours to shine through, both in a metaphorical and literal sense. It is precisely this personality and character that Ronny captures in the hope that others will be also moved by the beauty of these hidden wonders.

- DigiKam - This program is a godsend! Used to manage my photo collection, upload from my camera, correcting colour balance, contrast, saturation, etc, geolocation, tagging, and uploading to flickr
- Qtpfsgui - for HDR work
- GIMP - For adding my custom border, and the occasional editing which cannot be done on Digikam
- Secondlife - For when i do SL photography
