I'm a student at UCLA about to graduate with a Math/Atmospheric Science Degree. I finally decided to pick up a camera last a year or so back. My point and shoot camera wasn't doing it for me so I made a little investment with the D40 and am extremely happy I did. Now I don't leave home without it. I still have a lot to learn but having fun in the process. I'm hoping to one day mix my knowledge of the atmosphere with photography, but as of right now, I'm in sunny California, which isnt exactly known for its extreme weather
