Rediscovering my familiar world through a lens thrills me. Creating a world to my liking in post-processing comes in a close second.

A flickrite, now in my 6th year, flickr is still a source of revelation and consternation and astonishment. The wealth of creativity and beauty must be the internet at it's very best!

I have a lot to learn and really welcome an exchange, not just of images, but ideas and feelings, experiences and honest communication. Your constructive criticism will be appreciated and reciprocated to the best of my ability.

I welcome exchanges with varied cultures and languages. I write in English only these days, but understand French, Dutch, German and of course Swiss-German.

I live in The City Different in the Land of Enchantment and most of my images are taken while walking my dogs in downtown Santa Fe, NM. I am the administrator of the Santa Fe NM US group pool, which is open for all images taken in and around our town. If you have an interest in Santa Fe, NM, plan on visiting, or desire more of a community forum, the discussion threads might be helpful. Since I am the custodian of two canine buddies and we visit our fantastic dog park frequently, I created a group called Santa Fe Dog Park for community building and images taken only from within that special space. Some of my photos you will only find in that pool. If you are a dog lover you might like what you find there, dogs of all kinds and gorgeous views to boot. The discussion threads are open for anyone with any concerns in regard to our dog park and pet custodianship. I welcome your participation.
