"Phaedrus Redux works at a hedge fund, whatever that is - but I am prepared to forgive him for this. He inhabits the garish and material vortex of Tokyo through the week, but slips through the defences when the guards are napping to visit the wilder, freer, higher and realer places beyond the neon gates. Luckily for us, he records what he finds there, via camera and keyboard, and gives us all hope and motivation for escape."
