I like street art, cyclist activism, trampolines, vegetarian cooking, languages and linguistics, feminism, swing dancing, live music, the Whedonverse, free software and free culture, wikis and Wikimedia, wearing my geek cred on my t-shirt.

By default my photos are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license (CC-BY-SA). This means you don't have to ask me for permission to use them, just follow the terms of the license -- but I always like to hear how my photos find their way into the world.

My first digital camera was a Casio QV-R41. I took it to the 2006 Australian Open (and also China, where I lived for six months, I think).

For the 2007 Australian Open I borrowed my then-boyfriend's Canon EOS 350D. It was, naturally, totally awesome, but unfortunately we broke up and I can't use it any more!

In April 2008 I finally bought a new camera: Panasonic Lumix TZ3. I am totally addicted to taking wide-angle shots. Sorry.

I also have some more mundane pictures at Wikimedia Commons.
