It's not just what you discover, but how you apply what is discovered that effects progress. Similarly, it's not what you find, but rather what you create from what is found that is truly unique and important. In this way, photography as art transcends the simple visual record. It directs the eye, plucks a visceral chord of emotion, transforms perspective, and ultimately modifies our understanding of the world we live in.

Now, all I have to do is become good enough to live up to this philosophy. Though not always successful with every shot, I'm working hard at it and enjoying every minute of the journey.....
