  "I discovered flickr on July 17,'06 and it took me a while to figure it out. When Gui, o gato chose me as a contact on August 5, '06 I was so pleased, and then I requested her to be my contact, as well. I really didn't know what this was all about, so I sent her a flickr e-mail to introduce myself and she quickly responded. We soon discovered that we have a lot of similar interests, thoughts, and feelings. I think it is strange to be able to establish close cyberspace friendships, but that is what we have done.
  
  Her photo stream is filled with beautiful, sensitive images suffused with sunshine, glorious light, and lovely colors. Her remarkable ability to communicate in English is amazing.
