Like many out there, this is a return to a hobby that i first got into way back in my school days, it was part of my art studies towards 'o' level art and design. Many years passed, with work, family and other pastimes taking priority........until in 2007, after being inspired by the photography of a drummer in a wellknown indie band i picked up an slr [dslr] for the first time in 25 years and it all came flooding back..........my god how i missed it ?.......Now taking pictures is like a drug thats got a hold, wherever i go my camera goes. At first i had a little Minolta 5D, a super camera with a fine kit zoom lens.......now its a 5D again, a second hand Canon 5D MK 1 which has opened new avenues for me, its not got all the gimmicks of many of the new models but i'm getting results from it that i could only have dreamt about before......so thats basically it, if you stumble across any of my images and would like to leave a comment, i'm learning all the time. Picking up tips and learning new techniques........that is the wonderful thing about the flickr community, there's so much talent out there to learn from..................
