"peter is one of the most amazing guys i have ever met on flickr. he is an incredibly talented photographer! every time he posts a shot, i am impressed; most of the time, i am stunned! another thing that i appreciate about peter is this: even though he is far and above most of us, he always (ALWAYS!) takes the time to comment on his friends' photos...and i personally find that VERY encouraging...especially since he is so talented. if you have some time, please browse through his photostream...i think you will be amazed with the quality and beauty of his work. PETER....thanks for your friendship and constant encouragement!"

"Pete makes me laugh even when he leaves a serious comment. He's THAT much of a ham. And his photography mirrors his personality -- clever, perceptive, positive, and full of obvious appreciation for natural beauty in all its forms. Perhaps the shortest way to say it is that I'm always looking forward to what's next from him. Cheers, Pete!"

"Peter,
I just wanted to drop a quick note to say Thanks. You and I shoot with the same camera model but the quality of your images made me question my own work. By seeing what you could do with your camera, I pushed myself to learn more, try more and I strived to be as good as you. So I'm thanking you for being an inspiration. I'm also saying thanks for being such a great person. You've always encouraged me through your comments and humour. Everyday, I look forward to seeing the world from your PoV. It has been a great pleasure to "meet" you, Bobbie and Raven and if your ever over my way, drop in for a "cold one"

"This is my first testimonial and it is for my Flicker Friend Peter who was one of my first contacts and who was kind enough then to list me as a contact as well.
I love Pete's work because not only is it first rate, technically, it is always varied and interesting.
But the best part of having Peter as a contact is the fact that he always takes the time to comment and his input is always patient, kind and supportive. Thanks, Pete!"24th July, 2008

"When I first started looking at the fantastic pictures of Peter - Gasman, I wasn’t even sure I knew where Corner Brook was. But I could tell it was a beautiful part of my country from Peter’s fine shots. Through his photostream, I’ve discovered places for biking, hiking, fishing and boating. He has shown me the flora and fauna of Newfoundland in spectacular and beautiful ways. I have seen a cute little puppy grow up to be a fine looking dog. Peter has shown me money collections and camera collections. He has fantastic colourful close-ups of game pieces. From macros of flowers to portraits of horses and cats, Gasman has it all on his photostream.
Peter is frequently one of the first to comment on my photos. He is quick to visit any friends or family I introduce through my stream. Gasman has also introduced me to many new and marvellous photographers through his network on the flickr community. Peter, I really appreciate being on your list. I look forward to all your pictures not yet taken."18th December, 2007

supermans wife says:
"Peter is a great guy. I believe we met as a result of a photo on Newfie Bullets stream. It was a flower photo from a neighbors garden. I viewed his stream, and I believe the first photo I commented on was a snow scene of a back alley or side road in Corner Brook NewFoundland. It was after this that I took a serious look at his stream and became hooked. He has a very diverse collection of images, his creative eye has brought the Province of Newfoundland and its land/seascape and natural beauty to the forefront of flickr. My little knowledge of Newfoundland has grown by leaps and bounds. I even have acquired new words that come directly from NewFoundland. Even as Peter is away from home, he still stops in at flickr to comment on my work, as I am sure he does with others. He is one of the kindest people I have never met, and perhaps one day I will have the pleasure of meeting him.

Pete is not only a great photographer and flickr contact..he's also a wonderful person.
His stream is full of beautiful scenery, some wicked macros and some really fun and silly pics of his beloved pets.
They all have character and class and you can almost feel what he felt at the time of capture.
A perfect picture conveys a perfect message..and pete knows how to do this.

"What can I say about Peter.. He is a fantastic flickr friend and an amazing photographer. His photographs always tell a story, and he never lets bad weather get in the way for a photo, posing for us in torrid blizzards with his wife in control of the camera!
He always has a kind word to say, even when my photos are horrid! So to Peter, thank you, for all your kind words, encouragement and wonderful photos. I am truely glad to call Peter a friend."21st April, 2007
