Based in Shanghai I produces images that explore landscape, the city and the built environment. My images convey a sense of the presence, structure and human dimensions of the location.
Between 2003 & 2005, while in Tokyo I trained at the professional photo lab DOI Tech where I learnt traditional hand printing techniques in both black & white and colour. Following this I returned to the UK where I studied Professional Photography for a further two years at The Arts Institute at Bournemouth (now The Arts University College at Bournemouth). Following this I relocated to Shanghai to pursue personal projects culminating in the ongoing series 上海Hinterland.
