My photography mainly centres around Birmingham with an emphasis on Bournville where I live. I'm an admin of the Birmingham group which is a privilege and no mistake. Come to a Flickrmeet - they're great!

Here's a personal selection of my photos. Subjects I'm drawn to include graffiti, live music, and deep-seated urban decay. I'm trying to take more shots of people but keep getting drawn back to the bricks... Other than that I'll photograph pretty much anything that grabs my eye.

I write about my photography a fair bit on my blog where I also post up selections from my stream.

Cameras
Digital:
Aug 2006 - date: Nikon D70s
Nov 2005 - Aug 2006: Fuji S7000 prosumer jobby
2003 - Nov 2005: Olympus Camedia D-230 point'n'shoot.
2002 - 2003: L'Espion (set)
You might notice a pattern there...

Film:
Nikon FM2 on the whole. Occasionally a Nikon F2. Played with an F5 once. Lenses: 28mm and 50mm. All manual, all the time, often with expired film. SLR set.

I'm rather keen on the Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim though I don't use it as much as I'd like. I also have a soft spot for the Olympus XA2.

Other:
I am being drawn with great enthusiasm into the world of Through the Viewfinder. This is my current contraption.

Tech:
As of October 06, Photoshop for the TTV stuff, Lightroom for the "normal" stuff. Lightroom rocks.
