i was 10 when i picked up a point and shoot camera for the first time for a school project. it started off with a lot of sky shots and not much else.
then i didn't have any camera (other than the occasional single-use) for over a decade.
i finally got a Nikon D40x in mid-June, 2007. i still have an indescribable attachment to the sky and its free-floating clouds, but i've begun experimenting with other subjects.

"the strange thing is that i ran into perpetually drifting entirely by mistake... a very lean but interesting stream - there was something in the photos that i enjoyed quite a bit.
*sunset shot. well, almost.* is a damn fine photo for example, have a look at it sometime (unless it gets deleted since she's been known to wipe out a shot or two - tsk tsk, such a horrible practice).
