I'm an advanced amateur photographer from the United Kingdom living out in the sticks in Essex. I have a regular non-photographic day job that keeps me out of trouble.
I shoot theatrical portraits, corporate portraits, editorial pictures and the occasional wedding But not exclusively just those things all of the time.
I didn't go to art school. I didn't do a degree in photography. You won't find any of my work adorning a gallery anywhere (other than here online). I guess that puts me well into the centre of the flickr demographic.
I did learn an awful lot from a number of forward looking generous photographers online over the past few years who have helped me develop my skills. To that end I'm hoping to contribute to these communities with a behind the scenes blog on my website www.permanentdaylight.biz
