Los Angeles Native.

First off -- I'm a big fan of flickr and feel so priviledged to have found this amazing site. Please take time to look through some of my galleries, to meet some of the incredible photographers I've found here.

Have traveled to 49 of 50 states (Alaska - I'm coming for you!)
Own a Contax Aria, a Nikon D80, a Mamiya 7ii, and a Canon 7D.

Love taking photos of foreign places, beautiful women, interesting details of everyday life. Being from California, I have a tendency to make stuff that feels bright, and colorful - even when it's about subjects that are not so cheery.

I still shoot a lot of film (i know we are a dying breed), then scan and bring into the computer. But I see the images I get from my camera as only a starting point. As someone who regards the computer as an entirely new medium, I feel like an image is missing something if it hasn't been altered, optimized, adjusted in some way once it becomes a series of bits and bytes.
