Penfold (David)'s photostream  

Well, is this one of those sections where it does not matter what you say as no-one reads it anyway!

I have lived in Faringdon for the last 14 years and recently moved to a DSLR from a bridge camera. Photography has alway been a hobby from the days of my first Praktica SLR and although digital (in my opinion!) has not quite reached the quality of film the advantages outweigh the losses.

Flickr and the Faringdon Photographers group was recommended to me by Anna (what a talent she has) and having warned me how addictive it was, I will confirm that she was totally correct!

You never know what to put on view for the world to see but hopefully the pics that are posted will make someone, somewhere smile.

All feedback, positive and negative (how else do we learn!) is gratefully received.

* a few months in and every time I look at a new photostream the level of talent and creativity continues to amaze me. The ability to look into the lives of people who you will never meet and see places that you will never go is something that I do not believe is truly appreciated. Thanks to all
