Paul Stuckle is a member of the National Child Abuse Defense Resource Center, a member of the Texas and National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and former President of the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. As a former attorney for the Ft. Worth Police Department, former Assistant District Attorney for the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, and current Texas Defense Attorney, Paul Stuckle has garnered considerable trial experience. His 25 years in the criminal justice system have given him the ability to predict how the prosecution will arraign his clients, giving him the ability to defend them successfully.

Paul Stuckle began his career fresh out of college in 1983 as a certified Dallas, Texas Peace Officer. Paul Stuckle matriculated from St. Edwards University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech School of Law. Paul Stuckle became a licensed Attorney in the State of Texas in 1983, but did not begin his law career until he began working for the Ft. Worth Police Department as a Police Legal Advisor. From there, Stuckle took a position at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office and worked as Defense Attorney before eventually establishing his false allegation law firm, Stuckle and Ferguson, in January 1991.

In addition to his public service, Paul Stuckle has authored a textbook on police procedures, entitled “Texas Arrest, Search and Seizure,” intended to train future and active police officers. Paul Stuckle has also taught criminal law and evidence at the Southeastern Paralegal Institute, and graduated from and acted as a teaching assistant for the Dale Carnegie Course in Effective Speaking and Human Relations. As a defense lawyer, Paul Stuckle is aware of his community needs. Mr. Stuckle has worked as a Pro Bono Attorney for the falsely accused, and on occasion, has lectured and spoken on false allegations of child sexual assault and on fighting child protective services, as well as presented at seminars approved by the State Bar of Texas.
