A Brit living in Sout West France since January 2007 I discovered photography a few months later. Not a newbie to photography as such as I've always had a decent camera - just spent way too long subscribing to the idea that the better the camera, the better the image. Totally over that expensive misconception now and struggling up a whole new learning curve.
Flickr has been a revelation, making that learning curve a lot less slippery than it might have been !
Most of my pictures are landscapes and I continually strive to improve and capture the essence of what I see and hopefully what I feel when I am inspired to take a picture.
